AB Circle Japan Presents at Joint Seminar on Optimal Identity Verification Solutions for In-Person and Online Scenarios

Titled "What is the Optimal Identity Verification Solution for Both In-Person and Online Scenarios? A Hands-on Seminar on eKYC, Identity Verification Devices, and Application Systems," the event addressed upcoming amendments to the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds (scheduled for enforcement in April 2027), which mandate stricter identity verification standards utilizing IC chips for in-person transactions.

Held at Spiral Inc.’s Headquarters in Akasaka, Tokyo, the seminar brought together industry leaders to present comprehensive verification workflows designed for financial institutions and enterprise operations seeking seamless digital transformation (DX) and compliance.

Hiroyuki Shimada, General Manager of AB Circle Japan, delivered a presentation highlighting the key features and advantages of AB Circle’s high-performance IC card readers.
